ANAYADI PRASAD (N. PRESAD )
Anayadi Prasad (N. Presad), born on May 13, 1964, is the seventh son of Mr. Narayan and Mrs. Bhamini. His diverse career in music, spanning from obtaining qualifications in Ganabhushan and Ganapraveen to advanced studies under Neiyatinkara Vasudevan, led to his retirement in 2020 as the Senior Most Lecturer at the District Institute of Education (DIET). With over 1000 stage performances and the 2019 Kerala Sangeeta Nataka Academy Award, Anayadi seamlessly blends traditional Carnatic music, education, and research. As a Music Director, he has crafted a wide repertoire and is also the director of Bhamini Kalalayam and a managing committee member of Kollam Bala Bhavan. His active involvement in the Chembai Sangeetholsava sub-committee showcases his commitment to organizing music festivals. Has earned a Master's degree in Music (M.A.) and completed a seven-year Post Graduate Diploma in Ganapraveena Vocal. Also pursued advanced studies at the South Zone Cultural Centre in Thanjavur to further enhance his expertise in music.

Possesses a wealth of educational experience, with 10 years as a Music Teacher in Government High Schools and 22 years as a Lecturer in Art Education at the District Institute of Education & Training (DIET). Additionally, they have actively contributed to curriculum development, serving as an Art Education Expert in the Focus Group for the Kerala Curriculum Framework (KCF) in 2007, participating in the 2022 Curriculum Revision Focus Group, and playing key roles in various educational programs and initiatives, including serving as a State Core Resource Group Member and coordinating projects like the Little Artist Programme and Kalagramam Educational Project.

With an extensive professional career spanning 37 years, he has excelled as a Public Music Performer, showcasing his talents through over 13,000 stage programs. Additionally, his influence extends to the education of numerous students, including All India Graded Artists, Assistant Professors, Playback singers, Reality Show winners, M.A. Music Rank Holders, and champions of various academic and cultural festivals.

Research Experience

Anayadi Prasad, as a Research Scholar at Kannur University, focused on studying the Pedagogic Process of Music Curriculum in Secondary Schools of Kerala. Additionally, he conducted research activities for DIET through Block Resource Centres (BRC), including assessing the effectiveness of the Little Artist Programme and presenting papers on innovative practices and curriculum development in Art Education at state-level seminars.
